The yoga holiday retreat in Menorca was just about the most enjoyable experience I've had on my yoga journey.It was wonderful to take time just for myself and discover more about my own personal Ashtanga practice under your excellent guidance. Each morning practice was different for me. Every practice felt special in some way. The evening workshops helped very much with my understanding of technique and approach to asana, and they were FUN too. The icing on the cake was the lovely people who were there, the connection between us was strong and I felt something got bound together forever out there.Food was pretty good too!! I would strongly recommend Cathy's Menorca retreat where anyone can focus on and develop their Ashtanga practice whatever the level. Put me down for the next one please."

"Ashtanga yoga is a real find. I was lucky enough to discover Cathy's class after years of the same old gym routine had left me bored and demotivated. I attended primarily for fitness reasons and it certainly gives me a good, all over work out - it is much more challenging than it looks! I have only been attending for 3 months but already I have noticed real improvements in my fitness levels. I'm more toned than I ever managed at the gym and am getting lots of compliments. However there have been other, unexpected benefits. Cathy brings a sensitive and personal touch to her teaching that is a welcome change from interchangeable gym instructors. She gently encourages me to achieve my best each time. As Ashtanga is a form of meditation, it provides a welcome respite from everyday life that leaves me with a sense of stillness and fulfilment. The mysore style takes a little getting used to, as everyone is doing different things, but this actually helps keeps me focused and I am constantly learning new things. I have been a student of Cathy's for just over a year. I attend her Ashtanga yoga, mysore classes twice a week and I am currently on the primary series. These classes allow you to practice at your own pace, with Cathy always giving you one to one attention when needed, which is usually a lot in my case! I really look forward to my classes and love having Cathy as my teacher. I have been practising yoga for many years and have never found a class that brings you such great rewards, such as increased stamina, great body tone and improved flexibility (more than I thought I was capable of) If your New Year's resolution is have a healthy mind, body and soul then this is definitely the class and teacher for you.

I took up Ashtanga Yoga just over 3 months ago taking 1 class per week. I play football every week and I felt that Ashtanga Yoga would help to complement my football by helping me to improve my flexibility. I found Ashtanga Yoga very hard initially as it was much more physically demanding than I expected. I would encourage anyone and that includes persons of all ages and abilities to give it a go but to give it your all for 3 months initially as the real benefits really started to come for me once I started to learn and practice the primary series on my own (mysore class) as opposed to just following Cathy in her class.

I really enjoy Ashtanga Yoga and I have been a student of Cathy for a few years. I find that the practise can be very challenging but I always feel calmer and well worked after each session. Cathy is a wonderful teacher; calm, patient, understands why you might be frustrated occasionally with certain postures, and always manages to stretch you further than you thought you could go!
