Soraya Allison
Yoga has been an integral part of my life for 17yrs having been introduced to it from a young age by both my mother and aunt. I try to bring my yoga off my mat and use its principles in my everyday life.
I truly believe that this helps us to feel better, be a little better and this benefits not only us but those around us too. I teach Vinyasa Flow, a dynamic, flowing and creative form of yoga that uses the body and breath to calm the mind. I am a BWY teacher, trained through Yogacampus. Forever the student, I continue to learn and grow with amazing teachers; Rod Stryker, Shiva Rea, Claire Missingham; Liz Lark and from all the students that I teach.

Susan Earl
Susan has been studying meditation for the last fifteen years. It was yoga that first introduced me to meditation and I’ve been studying it through various teachings ever since. I meditate everyday and find it very empowering. It’s helped keep me grounded, not only in my career as an actress and writer but also as a mother. Susan studied a degree in drama and psychology and then went onto RADA to study an MA in text and performance studies. There she learnt various performance skills, including voice work. Susan has appeared in numerous TV shows including PERRIN (BBC1), NEVER BETTER (BBC2) and HARDWARE (ITV) and her voice can be heard on various commercials and cbeebies.
Susan trained as a reflexologist in 2005 at the Central London school of reflexology and is currently studying a course in mindfulness with the Mindfulness Association. She writes and records her own meditations based on the mindfulness approach and the spiritual teachings of Ekhart Tolle, Thich Naht Hahn and other spiritual teachers. Susan attends various courses and retreats in order to enhance her learning and loves teaching meditation.

Melanie Hubbard
|
Melanie discovered yoga at nineteen years old, in search of something which nourished body, mind and spirit. She later trained as a teacher with the BWY and continued to experience many styles of yoga including Sivananda, Iyengar, Ashtanga, Kundalini and Bikram, which have all influenced her style of teaching. Inspired by her own experience of pregnancy and motherhood she completed further training in pregnancy yoga and children’s yoga and qualified as a Yoga Bugs teacher. Through a desire to deepen her ability to nourish herself and family she came across Macrobiotics. As with yoga, Macrobiotics (“large life”or the capacity to live fully) is a philosophy of life based on ancient eastern wisdom and a deep understanding of the flow of energy within the body and in the universe. Over the last fifteen years her study of Macrobiotics has enhanced her own yoga practice and teaching. She has developed an understanding of the flow energy through the meridians (energy channels) and internal organs which form the basis of acupuncture and shiatsu . She has recently completed a four year in-depth training to become a Macrobiotic & Life Counsellor, Cook and Health Guide at the International Macrobiotic School in Devon. Alongside this work she currently teaches adult, children and teenage yoga classes.
