I am a beginner, where do I start?
As a beginner its best to select the style of yoga that best suits you and then ring the studio or teacher directly for more information if required. All classes have taster sessions.
What do I wear?
Wear something you feel comfortable in, that is not too tight and allows you to move easily.
I am very unfit/overweight/inflexible, can I still do yoga?
Yoga is possible for everyone. Please inform the teacher if you have any medical problems.
Can I just come along?
It is best to book as there are limited spaces available.
Do I have to book classes in advance?
There are drop in fees for some classes, there are no refunds for missed classes.
But I am on holiday for 2 weeks can I get a discount?
There are no refunds once a course has started, please speak to your teacher prior to booking a course if you are to be on holiday.
Can I borrow a mat?
There are mats for you to borrow at the studio.
I am pregnant, can I keep coming to my regular class?
Please speak to your teacher as soon as you find out that you are pregnant about precautions that may be necessary during your practice.
