Learn the basics of ashtanga yoga, with one of our beginners courses. These courses are aimed at students with little or no experience of yoga (or ashtanga yoga). Using our unique beginner 1 and beginner 2 courses, we carefully lead you through the Primary Series of Ashtanga Yoga. We welcome beginners - taking time to explain all movements, showing variations to meet every age, shape and level of fitness. You will need to complete the beginner 1 course before you can do the beginner 2 course. While on the course you can purchase a block of regular classes for half price, giving you the opportunity to practice what you learn in each class and help setting you up with a practice for life.
In this workshop we will be exploring ways to find freedom in our shoulders and strength in our backs, so that we can lift our hearts and impart grace and freedom into our lives.
Saturday 18th May 1 - 3 pm £25
Yin encourages you to let go of any goals and ambition and just ‘be’ in the pose, finding stillness and deep relaxation.
If you regularly do sport or practice ashtanga or other dynamic styles of yoga, it’s the perfect complement – gently opening your body to improve your flexibility. Or just come along and experience a level of relaxation that’s out of this world…
Clare teaches yin yoga in Harpenden and London.
