Learn the basics of ashtanga, with one of our 2 week/6 class beginners courses. These courses are aimed at students with little or no experience of yoga (or ashtanga yoga).

Restorative yoga - Allow yourself the important task of relaxing -
Rachel will guide you through restorative poses enabling you to
de-stress and recharge slowly, ready for the week ahead.
Your parasympathetic nervous system will be given the chance to
engage, allowing the inner systems of the body to reboot and renew.
A nurturing practice where your body will be completely supported by
props to leave you feeling centred, present and relaxed, the perfect way
to start your week.

The Art of Forward Bending with Cathy
Friday 6th March 7 - 9 pm £25
In this workshop you will learn how to do forward bends safely and with maximum effect for your body. We are all different, what works for one may not work for others, we need to listen to what our body is telling us and have the tools to make our pose both pleasant and safe. Forward bends have many benefits such as:-
Stretches our hamstrings
Lengthens our spine
Massages the internal organs, especially the digestive organs
Invigorates the nervous system
The Art of Backward bending with Cathy Friday 17th April 7 - 9 pm £25
Back bending needs several components to move with ease into the pose.
We will work on opening the shoulders, hips, lengthening the ever
important psoas muscle and slowly allow the body to unwind from our
often habitual forward stance - over the computer, reading the
newspaper, enjoying coffee etc.
